A musician since his early teens, Chazz toured as a drummer in the late 60's & 70's.

"Back when I was 17, I was playing wth older (20's) musicians and we were booked into a club on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls Canada.

Every night I would put on a fake beard, which took about an hour to apply and trim, and horned rim glasses to make me look "legal". The drinking age then was 21."

During those years of touring and playing drums locally, Chazz was learning to play guitar, as songwriting had become a serious passion. "Writing songs from a set of drums didn't work. I needed the guitar to pluck the melodies out of my head."
